Keeping families with sick children together and near the care and resources, they need.

"Hearts Building Homes"

I first became involved with the Ronald McDonald House when I was 6 years old. A representative had presented at my school, and I went home and told my parents that I wanted to help! I started by collecting pop tabs and wish list items. From there I helped to cook dinner or brunch. I've made cookies and snack packs for families to bring with them to the hospital. I've hosted bingo nights and craft nights. So, whether you collect and donate wish list items, you cook dinner, or you host a craft night, there is always something you can do to help!

Volunteers make the difference in the lives of all the families that come through our doors – cooking, hosting, listening, nurturing, or by simply being there and helping out in any way they can. In fact, RMHC is supported by 536, 213 volunteers who dedicate their time, talent, and resource to RMHC helping to offset costs and allowing the Charity to direct more donations back to programs supporting children and their families. On behalf of the millions of children and their families we helped in 2018, we say, ‘thanks’ and invite you to find your own volunteer opportunity.

Below is an example of the Ronald McDonald House Of Charlotte's Wish List. To find the wish list specific to your local house, visit your Ronald McDonald House Chapter's website.
